Faisalabad Electric Supply Company Limited (FESCO) invites following sealed EOI/Tender for

outsourcing Physical and Skill Tests for recruitment of Assistant Lineman (ALM) from the

Public Sector Universities having Headquarters under the jurisdiction of FESCO. Deadline for

submission of EO1/Tender is 02.08.2021 up to 11:00 AM.

The eligibility parameters for physical fitness / physical test will be as under :a. i. Minimum Height 5'4";

ii. Minimum Chest Size 32";

i. Weight As per Body Mass Index Chart (BMI) + 5%;

b. Running 800 meters within five (05) minutes;

C. 20 Push Ups/ in a single attempt in 03 minutes;

d. Digging of 1 ditch /hole of Length x Width x Depth (2x2x2);

e. Weight lifting 30 Kg in single attempt;

f. Climbing Tower / Ladder up to 10 feet wearing safety equipment;

g. Wire pulling one (01) span of 100 feet;

The physically eligible candidates will be allowed to appear in the skill / screening test. The

schedule for receipt, scrutiny, short listing / rejection of applications, skill / screening

physical tests & short listing for interview of qualified candidates will be as under:I. Receipt of Applications 15 days (from the date of advertisement)

ii. Scrutiny of Applications 30 days

iii. Short listing/ Rejection 15 days

iv. Skill / Screening / Physical Tests 40 days

v. Results

10 days

vi. Shortlisting of the Written 05 days

EOV Tenders will be received in the office of Add: Director General (Material Management)

FESCO Faisalabad on the date and time as mentioned above and will be opened in the

presence of participants or their authorized representative who care to attend the office of

Add: Director General (Material Management) FESCO, Faisalabad.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Single stage two envelope procedure as per PPRA Clause -36(b) (separate technical and

financial bids) shall be adopted. The bid shall comprise a single package containing two

separate envelops. Each envelop shall contain separately the financial proposal and the

technical proposal. The envelopes shall be marked as "FINANCIAL PROPOSAL" and

"TECHNICAL PROPOSAL" in bold and legible letters to avoid confusion. Initially, only the

envelope marked "TECHNICAL PROPOSAL" shall be opened. The envelope marked as

"FINANCIAL PROPOSAL" shall be retained in the custody of the FESCO without being

opened. The FESCO shall evaluate the technical proposal in a manner prescribed in

advance, without reference to the price and reject any proposal which does not conform

to the specified requirements. During the technical evaluation no amendments in the

technical proposal shall be permitted. The financial proposals of bids shall be opened

publicly at a time, date and venue announced and communicated to the bidders in

advance. After the evaluation and approval of the technical proposal FESCO, shall at a

time within the bid validity period, publicly open the financial proposal of the technically

accepted bids only. The financial proposal of bids found technically non-responsive shall

be returned un-opened to the respective bidders.

2. Rate per applicant shall be quoted by the bidder (approximately hundreds of thousands of

applications expected).

3. The University will arrange to conduct the aforementioned tests against the post of ALM

(BPS-05) in eight (08) Districts i.e. Faisalabad, Chiniot,  Jhang, Toba Tek Singh, Sargodha,

Khushab, Mianwali & Bhakkar at major Cities / Tehsil and District Headquarters falling

under the jurisdiction of FESCO.

4. The contract / agreement for conduction of aforementioned tests will be executed

between the University & FESCO Management and MOU to this effect will be signed with

the approval of BOD FESCO.

6. The prices should be firm and final without involving any foreign exchange.

7. EO Tender must be accompanied by the bank guarantee for an amount not less than for

Rs. 200,000/- to be valid for 120-Days in the form Bank Guarantee / Call Deposit / Pay

Order issued by any scheduled bank of Pakistan in favor of CEO FESCO.

8. EO Tender form can be obtained from the office of Add : Director General (Material

Management) FESCO Faisalabad on any working day during office hours till a day earlier

from the opening of the EOV Tender. The cost of Eol /Tender

form is Rs.2000/- only.

9. Eol /Tenders will be received manually and will be dropped in EOV Tender Box at the time

mentioned above. However, a representative should be present at the time of opening.

10. There will be no issuance of EO Tender documents on the date of opening of EOV Tender.

11.Copy of Registration with Sales Tax Department should be produced at the time of

issuance of Eol/

Tender documents and with bid schedule.

12. El/Tender and bid validity will be for 90 days from the date of opening of EOI/Tender.

13. Conditional EOV Tender will not be accepted.

14. In case of holiday announced by Govt. of Pakistan, Strike in FESCO or any other reasons

whatsoever, due to which this office remains closed on the above schedule Eol Tender

opening date, the Eol/Tender will be opened on the next working day at the same time

and place.
